Yes, storing Vitamin C in the refrigerator is beneficial! This is because Vitamin C degrades more quickly when exposed to heat. To further protect its potency, we've also chosen airless packaging for our product. This type of packaging minimizes the exposure of Vitamin C to oxygen, which can also accelerate degradation. Is it normal to have a tingling sensation after applying the serum?
This Serum has quite a high concentration of Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) and as a result, once you apply it on the skin you may feel some tingling. This is completely normal and should subside as you apply the next step in your skincare routine. If you feel that the burning is too strong we recommend applying a smaller amount but if it is still too strong for you, it may be best to try a product with a different Vitamin C concentration. We recommend our mask The C-Tox.
Do I need to apply this serum every day?
This serum can be applied every day! However, we recommend first doing a small patch test to see how your skin reacts, as the Vitamin C concentration is very high. Acne-prone skin for instance can potentially react more sensitive to it. We advise to check with your dermatologist in case of any doubts or reactions!
